The Chattahoochee Nature Center

Alicia: My name is Alicia Evans, and I am the Community Programs Director here at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. We are a private nonprofit, and we’re located in Roswell, Georgia. Our mission is to connect people with nature.
I am currently standing on the Green Roof of our Discovery Center which overlooks our woodland trails.
We have 127 acres here, and we’re right along the Chattahoochee River in North Atlanta. Our location allows us to provide unique programs such as guided canoe trips, educational school programs, and even outdoor concerts. We also have native gardens, a wildlife rehabilitation clinic, and non-releasable animals on exhibit.
Our programs and exhibits are designed to help people create a relationship with nature, and they allow us to showcase sustainability. Our hope is that when visitors leave the CNC, they feel empowered to positively impact their local environment.
Thanks to your contributions to the Combined Federal Campaign, we are able to continue this very important work.
